Austria has 90% drop in Coronavirus cases after requiring people to wear face masks
On April 6th the Austrian government required everyone to wear a face mask.  This was in direct conflict with what the United Kingdom government told its citizens, the Public Health England, PHE,  said wearing masks could spread the virus because it causes people to touch their face more and this increases  their chance o acquiring the virus.

However, in just 2 weeks, Austria’s number of Covid-19 cases decreased by 90%! In late March, Austria experienced a spike in infections, 90 cases per one million people, according to Daily Mail. By April 21st, just 15 days after everyone was required to wear masks the number of cases had dropped to only 10 cases per one million people.
